Caldes d’Estrac Caldes, a spa town by the sea, provides with an excellent climate, beautiful surroundings, high-quality thermal baths , good food and culture. The Public baths at Caldes d’Estrac These are the only public baths in Catalunya. They are located in front of the hotel and next to the City Hall, where there is a 23-meter-long tunnel that supplies the water. The waters emerge at a temperature of 39 ºC. They are indicated for special therapies because they are chloride sodium type. Some analysis have been made to prove that. The last one was in 1992, by the Dept. of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Medicine Faculty in the Complutense, in Madrid. Muntanyà Park It’s a mixture between wood and garden in the centre of the village, with a wide range of vegetal species in a beautiful open space. You can acced there by the Riera – in front of Muntanyà Square -, by the Ral Path – in the entrance of the village –, and by St Pere Abanto Street.
